Copyright Policy

Introduction

AcctPremium Hub is committed to addressing copyright complaints in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Section 512 of the DMCA outlines the statutory requirements for reporting copyright infringement and provides instructions for filing a compliant counter-notice if a removal is disputed.

We respond to allegations of copyright infringement, including claims related to the unauthorized sale or distribution of copyrighted material and the unauthorized use of copyrighted images, videos, or other content uploaded via our platform. Note that not all uses of copyrighted material constitute infringement. For more information on copyright, visit resources such as http://copyright.gov or consult a legal expert.

Are You a Copyright Holder?

If you are uncertain about your ownership rights to a specific work, please consult an attorney or qualified advisor. AcctPremium Hub cannot provide legal advice.

Before Filing a Copyright Complaint

Consider whether the use of the material may qualify as "fair use." Submitting a false or misinformed copyright complaint could make you liable for damages, including legal fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If unsure about your claim, seek legal counsel before proceeding.

Filing a Copyright Complaint

To submit a copyright complaint, provide the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is sufficient) of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., a link to the original work or a detailed description).
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient for us to locate it on our platform.
  4. Your contact information, including address, phone number, and email.
  5. A statement affirming your good-faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement affirming that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, under penalty of perjury.

Send your complaint to copyright@acctpremium.ng.

Processing Copyright Complaints

Complaints are reviewed in the order they are received. Once your complaint is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. If no confirmation is received, please resubmit your complaint. Submitting duplicate complaints may delay processing.

If content is removed or access restricted, we will notify the affected user(s) and provide them with a copy of the complaint and counter-notice instructions.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice with the following details:

  1. A physical or electronic signature.
  2. Your full name, address (including country), phone number, and associated AcctPremium Hub account email.
  3. Identification of the removed material and its prior location on the platform.
  4. A statement under penalty of perjury affirming your good-faith belief that the removal was mistaken or misidentified.
  5. A jurisdictional consent statement, depending on your location:
    • If in the U.S.: “I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where my address is located, and I’ll accept service of process from the notifier or their agent.”
    • If outside the U.S.: “I consent to any judicial district where AcctPremium Hub may be found, and I’ll accept service of process from the notifier or their agent.”

Send your counter-notice to copyright@acctpremium.ng.

After Submitting a Counter-Notice

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not take legal action within 10 business days, the material may be reinstated. Be aware that submitting a counter-notice has legal implications; consult an attorney if needed.

Repeat Infringement Policy

Accounts with multiple copyright complaints or evidence of repeat infringement may be deactivated. Reposting removed content or promoting access to copyrighted material on third-party platforms may result in permanent account suspension.

Counterfeit Goods Policy

AcctPremium Hub strictly prohibits the sale or promotion of counterfeit goods.

What Are Counterfeit Goods?

Counterfeit goods include physical or digital items that use a trademark or brand identical or nearly identical to another’s without authorization. These items are designed to deceive consumers into believing they are genuine products.

Policy Violations

The following actions violate our counterfeit goods policy:

  1. Selling or promoting non-genuine products falsely claimed as authentic.
  2. Using terms like “faux,” “replica,” or “imitation” alongside a trademark without authorization.
  3. Offering unauthorized access to copyrighted content, including digital goods.

Reporting Counterfeit Goods

To report counterfeit goods, send an email to support@acctpremium.ng. Each report will be reviewed, and violations may result in account deactivation or removal of the listed materials.

Important Note

Filing copyright or counterfeit claims is a serious matter. Misrepresentation or bad-faith submissions can result in legal consequences. Ensure you have the appropriate rights or authorization before filing a complaint or counter-notice.
